What Denise Richard’s has to say about Charlie Sheen

Denise Richards is famous for movies such as Wild Things (Unrated Edition), The Life, Valentine, Blonde & Blonder (Widescreen Edition) and Finding Bliss, all of which can be found on Amazon.com.

In the past, Sex symbol Denise Richards has dated actor Patrick Muldoon as well as been linked to actor John Stamos, whom she dated during her teenage years. But her longest association has been with actor Charlie Sheen whom she married in 2002. The couple have two daughters, Sam J. Sheen and Lola Rose Sheen. The marriage was a greeting card company’s dream come true until March 2005 when Denise Richards filed for a divorce. For a while after, the couple was reconciled and even went into marriage counselling to sort out their relationship. But to no avail. On January 4, 2006, it was announced that Denise Richards would be continuing with the divorce. The matter became increasingly tawdry with Denise Richards putting a restraining order against Sheen. She claimed that he had allegedly made death threats against her.

Confirming her determination to get a divorce, Denise Richards even put in formal legal papers asking for a divorce under the laws of the state of California. The papers allege that Sheen was behaving increasingly erratic. She claimed that this was making their marriage impossible and that she did not trust her daughters around him. She said that she feared for her own safety as well.

Other allegations in the filing claim that Sheen has been both physically and verbally abusive in the marriage. She also says that Charlie Sheen had threatened her life. And that though he had once shot a previous fiancée, Kelly Preston, Charlie Sheen insisted that he wanted to keep firearms within arms reach so that he could protect them. Denise Richards also feels that Sheen had become paranoid and obsessive. Apparently he was taken in by various 9/11 conspiracy theories as well as believed that baby formula caused brain damage. He also wanted to buy gas masks and was extremely fascinated with the death of Nicole Simpson.

Other allegation made by Denise Richards against Charlie Sheen include an accusation that he visited prostitutes and was addicted to gambling, prescription drugs (which he bought over the Internet), and pornography. As these allegations seemed believable to the court, Denise Richards was able to get a restraining order against her former husband.
